The VR-Virus is the evolved form of the V-Virus, itself an alternate strain of the A-Virus. Currently it is only seen in Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni, as all those infected with the VR Virus are sent to Bhikkhuni Island for treatment.
The VR-Virus functions almost identically to the V-Virus with one major distinction: instead of dividing the infected into Liberators and Extars, all infected are instead Hybrids.
As such, any Valkyrie infected with the VR-Virus can wield someone who has performed a Drive to become a weapon, or they can become a weapon themselves.
Like the V-Virus, the form the weapon takes is determined by the person in the Liberator role.
Limitations[]
Without their partner, a Valkyrie cannot operate as they have no weapon to wield and if they turn into a weapon there would be nobody to wield them, if they could even perform a Drive alone in the first place.
