A Liberator is a young woman who has been infected with the A-Virus or V-Virus and become a Valkyrie. They appear in both Valkyrie Drive Mermaid and Valkyrie Drive Siren.
A-Virus Version[]
Those who become Liberators after being infected with the A-Virus are able to wield Extars after they have performed a Drive and transformed into a weapon or type of armor.
The form of the weapon depends on the Extar, and it's power depends on their connection with her Liberator.
V-Virus Version[]
The V-Virus version is nearly identical to the A-Virus version, except that the form of weapon or armor that the Extar takes is dependent on the Liberator themselves instead of the Extar.
The power of the Extar's transformed state is still dependent on their connection with their Liberator.
Hybrids[]
Rarely seen with the A-Virus or V-Virus, but present in all Valkyries infected with the VR-Virus is the ability to be a Hybrid who can serve as either a Liberator or Extar depending on the situation.
